Welcome to the ATK Raider SL the super light twist on Free Touring binding.
Designed to help all freeriders who prioritize lightness to reach those much-desired turns with fresh legs. The Raider SL is also intended for skiers transitioning from
classic ski mountaineering who want to enjoy a bit more comfort, especially during descent, without compromising on lightness. Let's see what makes the Raider
SL an excellent choice for your backcountry adventures.
Features:
Performing Through Lightness: ATK took its first steps in this industry by developing lightweight race bindings, and now, as then, lightness is key to achieving what athletes crave: speed. Therefore, it's easy to understand why “performance through lightness” has been the mantra that has accompanied ATK's growth in its early years.
Durability: Crafted from high-quality materials and engineered to withstand the rigors of backcountry skiing, the Raider SL offers exceptional durability and reliability. The carefully machined components and thoughtful construction ensure longevity to this tech binding, providing peace of mind during your most demanding adventures.
Toe piece: Speed Toe Piece: redesigned to improve downhill performance with its hybrid mounting pattern—narrow at the front holes and wide at the rear. Its ergonomic lever, designed with a specific joint, makes opening, step-out, and closing operations easier. The Speed Toe Piece also includes ATK's Snowpack Proof System, carefully designed to prevent snow and ice from accumulating under the locking mechanism, ensuring it remains safe and easy to operate even on the coldest days with frequent transitions. Integrated but removable rampant support.
Heel piece: Elastic Response System: which ensures precise releases and optimal skis performances by facilitating their natural flex, enhancing downhill performances. AP Brake System: available in sizes from 86mm to 120mm. To switch from descent to ascent mode, press the pedal all the way with one hand and rotate the heel piece head 180° with the other hand. Conversely, to switch from ascent to descent mode, simply rotate the heel piece once again. Magneto Heel Flaps: two carefully designed heel flaps to provide a higher touring comfort. They can be easily managed with poles thanks to an ingenious combination of two magnets. Up to 25mm of length adjustment. Both lateral and vertical release value are adjustable.
