Completely redesigned from the ground up, this new generation uses state of the art planet-friendly materials and technology to bring you the lightest weight, most powerful version yet. The new Gea is our gold-standard touring boots, ideal for someone looking for a boot that skis as well as it tours. The Gea is for skiers looking for a warm, dependable, and versatile backcountry boot.

Details:

  • Updated Last: A new 102mm wide last provides more performance and comfort. The widest part of the shell is now located further back on the lateral side of the foot, near the “sixth toe” providing more comfort in a critical area for a lot of feet. To further enhance fit and performance, the toe box and heel pocket have been reshaped to provide a significant increase in both precision and responsiveness compared to previous versions. More comfort, more performance!

     

  • Carbon Core: For the first time ever, the Maestrale and Gea feature carbon fiber. Our new Carbon Core technology adds serious backbone to the Pebax Rnew shell to increase performance and power transmission.

  • Speed Lock MLT: Easily shed snow and resists ice for a friction free walk
  • Wave Lite Closure: Wave Lite closure system is highly adjustable and increases closure force for a more precise fit
  • Redesigned HRS Strap: This system securly locks in heel for both skiing and climbing, is now easily replaceable
  • Spoiler Updates: The height is adjustable to provide a customized height, ensuring optimal lower leg support. It also offers a forward lean adjustment of +/- 2º.
